Getting Started is Easy

The Necessity of a Broker

This is not a newsflash for many people –the insurance industry is changing.  Health Care Reform has changed virtually every aspect of our industry over the past few years, with changes projected to continue in years to come.  I can tell you this with no hesitation… there is never a dull moment!

Among many other things, the Affordable Care Act (ACA) introduced a streamlined, web-based solution for employee benefits and individual insurance that has some folks questioning the need for insurance brokers.  The truth is – we are more valuable now, than ever.  Employee Benefit Advisor has recently published an article that highlights the extreme need for benefit brokers in the ever-changing insurance industry.  Take a look, here.

It all boils down to this – the technologies that are available may help you to begin a process, but the support typically ends once the process is set into motion.  A benefits broker or advisor is also there to begin the process, but unlike many web-based alternatives, we are there throughout the life of the process to advise and assist.  With virtually nothing lost and only positives gained, I ask you this – why wouldn’t you use a broker?
