Hiring for Super Powers

Hiring for Super Powers

When we hire new people to join our team, we screen for the obvious skills and traits needed to do the job. We also look for talents that maybe aren't listed in the job description - we call them super powers.

Super powers can be anything really, public speaking, expert at Excel, speaking multiple languages, or maybe being a Division 1 golfer and a golf coach. Oh yeah, we hired a ringer! And while Andy and I haven't golfed in years, we are up for it now!

We had a great time and were proud sponsors at the 29th Annual IUP Business Golf Classic at the amazing Longue Vue Club in Verona. Rolling in at 8 under par made it a lot more fun as well. While I can't golf with one arm, driving a beer cart one-handed might just be one of my super powers.

Laurie Kuzneski

Laurie Kuzneski is our Director of Client Development and Partnerships. She is the resident Culture Guru, funny girl, and often the voice of KIG. Laurie loves drinking wine, public speaking (usually together), talking about corporate culture, riding her bike, and mentoring women-led companies (guy-led companies too). Often referred to as Andy Kuzneski’s better half, Laurie is a proud alumna of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and a member of the IUP Board of Trustees, as well as a board member of Indiana Regional Medical Center, and the Indiana County Chamber of Commerce. Oh yeah, she’s also a mom.
