According to Beyonce, it's Girls. And after this meeting of the minds I had at SteelBridge Labs, I will never doubt Beyonce again. On Wednesday, I got to spend an incredible couple of hours in the super cool SteelBridge office having lunch and talking with an amazing group of women at the Women's CEO Roundtable.
We talked about everything from our strengths and weaknesses, how we measure our progress to ensure we achieve our goals, what gets in our way, and most importantly, how we get past it. It was a lively, funny, honest and authentic discussion with questions from those in the thick of it and advice from those who have done it before.
As an entrepreneur, an investor in women-led companies, a mentor to start-ups, and if we get right down to it, a girl, it was enlightening, uplifting, and encouraging to support and be supported by other women of this caliber. The only way it could have been better is if we had done it over drinks.
